The staff took a lot of time with me and my wife explaining all of our options. We never felt rushed. After we went home to discuss it, they took the time to answer all of our additional questions, either over the phone or at the store. After we made our purchase, the instal was quick. The installer kept our house clean, walked us through all of the steps to start our fireplace and adjust it. He also was eager to answer any questions that came up when he was here.

We have had other companies do a lot less work, take more money and give us recommendations to pull out a fireplace. Metro House of Fire cuts through the BS and gives honest feedback, easy DIY recommendations, realistic repairs and the most non pressured approach we have experienced. Both my parents and us have been very pleased with them and would trust them for our fireplace needs. We highly recommend them.

We had Metro House of Fire complete an inspection of our fireplace, and I was extremely impressed with their honesty and professionalism. Their recommendations ultimately saved us thousands of dollars because they focused on what was actually needed rather than trying to sell us unnecessary work. It was clear that they were giving advice based on what they would do for their own home, not what would generate the biggest commission. That level of integrity is hard to find and was greatly appreciated. Robbie was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job repairing our fireplace. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the work was done right. I recently worked with MHoF to retrofit a new wood burning stove into an existing fire place at a home that I am renovating and couldn't be more pleased with their services from start to finish. They did a great job helping me find the right stove to fit the space/aesthetic goals of the project and were able to seamlessly install the unit as soon as it arrived. Visited the store with a bracket issue while trying to install replacement masonry fireplace doors. Really amazing store with everything you could need for grills and about every fireplace you could imagine! Absolutely amazing. I will never ever call anyone ever than Metro house of fire to service. My three gas fireplaces. Had another fireplace company out here today. Quoted me $15,000 to $20,000 to replace my entire fire box. Talked with Metro house of fire on the phone, they guided me through four simple steps and my fireplace that was not working at all completely works and it cost me zero dollars compared to the $99 charge I paid just for someone to look at my fireplace and tell me that there was nothing they could do. I would give more stars if possible. They were patient, polite, courteous, and obviously extremely caring. House of Fire is the most trustworthy, reasonable and go-to provider of quality service and support in Atlanta. We had a vented gas fireplace malfunction and were told by the installer, three service providers and two fireplace stores that the entire unit would need replacing. Costs ranged from $7-10K. House of fire said - we are 99% sure we can fix it for under $500. One week later, we’ve got a fully functional fireplace for $238. Spoke to our neighbor a week later and realized they had used HOF for their new build installation and raved about them as well. Take the uncertainty of service and quality and put House of Fire at the top of the list.

Originally, my contractor advised me to get a ventless firebox and gas logs from Home Depot or Lowe’s. Neither had models to show and reviews were poor especially concerning customer service. Sedge at Metro House of Fire explained in detail about aspects to consider as he showed me floor models, He has also been helpful in guiding my contractor with installation. I paid a little more to get superior quality but also have the reassurance of local expertise.

House of Fire made our dream fireplace come to life! My husband and I recently bought a house, and we knew we wanted a wood stove installed to replace the old 80s gas insert. We worked with Sedge, and he was super knowledgeable about the process and products. We ended up needing a new chimney, rainpan, and chimney cap - they were really flexible with scheduling and were prompt and thorough. Our custom cabinet guy did a fantastic job with the wood paneling and really did well with the heat release. My dad was looking for a new fireplace grate. I had reservations about ordering one online (it's nice to actually see what you're going to get when it's going to be in your house for years) and called ahead. They told me to get some measurements, and we came in a couple of days later. They were very helpful choosing the correct size grate and answering his questions about a crack in the back fireplace wall. This kind of service is hard to find in the 21st century!

Just had my old fireplace replaced with a new one. This was a very enjoyable experience. Starting with working with Tod, and others as the process went on with special ordering m, scheduling etc. a team of two came today to do the installation. They were right on schedule. Good team, very knowledgeable m, hard working. Very thorough, as well as very clean. They had put drop clothes everywhere to keep furniture, and flooring clean and protected! Bought a gas insert from this location and the gentleman was super helpful, took the time to really go through all of the differences and details, and never once pressured us or blew us off. We ended up installing the unit ourselves, and they still took the time to give us a few tips and tricks to make sure the removal of the old one was seamless and the installation of the new one was perfect.

The people are very knowledgeable and patient. We learned a lot and are excited about our fireplace conversion project.

We bought our Hearthstone Wood Burning stove from MHOF and they have been really good to work with. When we moved into a different home this past summer, we needed some custom adjustments to make the stove work in the new fireplace surround and to be in compliance with some updated safety regulations. Sedge and Todd worked hard to find solutions to all the issues; Todd even crafted a custom heat shield which is working beautifully to protect the mantel. Sedge was great at following through with us each step of the way and the guys that came to do the installation were very courteous and professional. We've been thoroughly enjoying our wood-burning stove all winter and have complete peace of mind knowing that MHOF took care of making sure the installation was done right with safety as a top priority.

I just needed a quick repair for my pilot light on an existing set of gas logs. The guys were very honest and professional and were able to diagnose my problem by the picture I emailed to them. I appreciate a company that, rather than charge a trip fee and service charge, gave professional advice over the phone saving me time and money. When it comes time to replace my gas logs, I will go to Metro House of Fire first!

I went to Metro House of Fire to select a gas fireplace for my living room. Sedge spent about 1.5 hours with me answering my questions. He was great! He was patient and answered all my questions. We picked an installation date which had to be moved twice due to issues with the construction company who was to build out the fireplace area. Metro House of Fire was understanding and accommodated the date changes. Installation of the fireplace by MHF took a few hours by 2 people. Overall I love the fireplace and the quality of workmanship related to the installation process. I highly recommend this place.

I contracted with Metro to install 2 gas log fireplace sets in my home in Marietta back in December 2019. Sedge was excellent to work with up front to go through all of the options and select the burners, logs, and accessories. He communicated well throughout the process. Preston installed the 2 sets at my home. HIs work is excellent. After he finished, the 2 fireplaces looked like the ones in the showroom; if not better. An A++ company and team.

We had an unused fireplace for 15 years and finally decided last summer we should change that ;) In the middle of July we went here to explore gas logs and Sedge was super helpful in explaining our options and price point choices so we ordered our set that day. The House of Fire team logs installed everything shortly thereafter, and then we patiently waited for the weather to get cold.... we've been using our fireplace daily for the past 3 months now and adore it! Had to wait a month for the chimney inspection, but no big deal as the weather is just now getting cold. Preston was super cool to deal with. These guys are consummate professionals and know what they are doing. They were able to squeeze me in during the busiest time of the year for them because of my own stupidity. Six years ago Metro House of Fire put in a gas knob for my fireplace and did a great job. I've had no problems until my pilot light went out and I needed to relight it. Everything i was looking for and great price

Last spring another chimney repair company told us we had significant damage due to a chimney fire in 2009 and we should not use our fireplace again until it was repaired... to the tune of $3,200!!Although we called them back and said we wanted to make the repairs and after several promises to call back, we never heard from them again. We went to Home Adviser and found Metro House of Fire. They came out on time, Thomas and his partner were very knowledgeable and friendly and after a very thorough inspection, both by climbing up to look into our extremely high chimney and using their nifty camera, we were told there was NO damage and we could use the fireplace, no problem!!
